2022 Eugene Korea Open Tennis Championships, an ATP 250 tournament, on Hard, in Seoul, South Korea, 26 September - 2 October 2022.
This is the first time the tournament has been held since 1996, when Byron Black (1) defeated Martin Damm 7-6(3) 6-3 in the final.

Yoshihito Nishioka (Japan) v Denis Shapovalov (4) (Canada)
Nishioka won the only previous meeting between the players - round of sixteen in Shenzhen 2018. (Nishioka proceeded to win that title)
In set one of the final, Shapovalov saved three break points in game four, and Nishioka saved three break points in game seven.
All serves were held through nine games.
Serving to stay in the set at 4-5, Shapovalov failed, and Nishioka was ahead 6-4.
After both players saved a break point in their opening service games of set two, Shapovalov was the first to achieve a break.
He led 2-1.
Nishioka converted the third of three break back chances in the sixth game and it was 3-3.
Neither was even taken to deuce for the remainder, and a tie break was required.
Nishioka had the edge 5-3 after Shapovalov lost a point on his own serve early in the tie break.
Things tightened when Nishioka lost a point when serving at 5-3.
Serving at 4-5, Shapovalov lost the next point, leaving Nishioka with teosinte match points.
One was saved, but Nishioka served it out.
Yoshihito Nishioka won the match 6-4 7-6(5), and claimed the Korea Open.
This was the second title for Nishioka from four finals, following the Shenzhen Open in September 2018.
