Final:
Iga Swiatek (1) (Poland) v Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic)
Swiatek won both previous matches between the players, most recently round of sixteen in Rome last year.
In this final, Swiatek saved three break points in the third game of set one, then broke Krejcikova in the following game to lead 3-1.
The world number one broke again for 5-1, but Krejcikova retrieved one of the breaks when Swiatek served for the set.
Serving at 2-5, Krejcikova saved a set point and held for 3-5.
Swiatek served for the set a second time, and failed.
Krejcikova delivered a love game and levelled at 5-5.
Swiatek saved three break points before holding to lead 6-5, then broke Krejcikova to take the set 7-5.
Krejcikova broke the Swiatek serve in game one of set two, then saved three break points before holding in game four for a 3-1 advantage.
Swiatek broke back in game eight, levelling at 4-4
Ultimately a tie break was needed.
Krejcikova raced to 6-1.
Swiatek saved three of the set points, but Krejcikova served it out 7-6(4).
In the decider, neither player was taken to deuce on their serve until the eighth game where Krejcikova broke Swiatek to love.
Serving for the match at 5-3, Krejcikova saw five match points disappear, and had to save a break back point.
Finally a sixth match point was converted, and the fight was over.
Barbora Krejcikova won 5-7 7-6(4) 6-3, to claim the title in her home country.
This was title number five from eight finals for Krejcikova, and second this year, following the success in Tallinn last week.
