This is a new tournament on the ATP Tour calendar.
Adrian Mannarino withdrew after the main draw was published due to a knee injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Carlos Taberner.
Mannarino’s place in the draw was taken by qualifier Marco Trungelliti.
Taberner took the place in the draw originally allocated to a qualifier, and would play Arthur Rinderknech.
First round results:

- Constant Lestienne defeated Sebastian Baez (7) 7-6(5) 4-4 (retired)
