Final:
Liudmila Samsonova v Aliaksandra Sasnovich (7)
This was the first meeting between the players.
There were five breaks of serve in set one.
Sasnovich was broken each of the four times she went to the line.
Samsonova dropped serve in the second game, but won the next five games to take the set 6-1.
Samsonova broke serve in the fourth game of set two and led 3-1.
Sasnovich, when serving at 2-5, saved a match point, and held for 3-5.
Samsonova served it out for a comprehensive victory 6-1 6-3:and claimed her third title from as many finals.
Two titles in August, following the victory in Washington earlier in the month.
Samsonova looms as a possible dangerous second round opponent for Leylah Fernandez in this years US Open.
