Fifth seed Fabio Fognini withdrew after the main draw was published due to personal reasons, and was replaced by lucky loser Gonzalo Villanueva.
Quentin Halys was instated as ninth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Fognini.
Qualifier Rinky Hijikata took the place in the draw previously occupied by Halys.
Villanueva took the place in the draw originally allocated to a qualifier, and would play Steve Johnson.
