A one off tournament, held in conjunction with an ATP 250 event.

Held because of the Brisbane International being cancelled due to COVID-19.

Top seed Ashleigh Barty withdrew after the main draw was published due to a change in schedule, and was replaced by lucky loser Oceane Dodin.

Third seed Barbora Krejcikova was moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Barty, and received the bye originally given to Barty.

Sixth seed Iga Swiatek withdrew after the main draw was published due to a rib injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Fiona Ferro.

Elena Rybakina was instated as ninth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Swiatek.
