The 2022 WTA tour continues in South Australia.
2022 Adelaide International 2 - a WTA 250 tournament, on Hard Greenset, in Adelaide, Australia, 10-15 January 2022.
Added to the calendar to give more players more competition time to warm up for the Australian Open.
The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:
- Camila Giorgi replaced by Madison Brengle
- Yulia Putintseva replaced by Madison Keys
- Sara Sorribes Tormo replaced by Mayar Sherif
- Clara Tauson replaced by Alizé Cornet
Aryna Sabalenka, world number 2, is top seed.
