The ATP tour continues in India
2022 Tata Open Maharashtra - an ATP 250 tournament, on Hard Plexipave, in Pune, India, 31 January - 6 February 2022.
Event not held in 2021 due to COVID forcing a later start to the tennis season, and players needing time to prepare for the Australian Open.
Defending champion (2020):
Jiri Vesely who defeated Egor Gerasimov (8) 7-6(2) 5-7 6-3
The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:
- James Duckworth replaced by Hugo Grenier
- John Millmanreplaced by Quentin Halys
Aslan Karatsev, world number 15, is top seed.
The other 7 seeds are all in the top 93
The top four seeds have first round byes.
