Qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse who defeated Andrea Petkovic 7-6(6) 6-4
Fifth seed Tamara Zidansek withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness, and was replaced by lucky loser Kateryna Baindl.
Elena-Gabriela Ruse was instated as ninth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Zidansek.
Baindl took the spot previously occupied by Ruse.
Dalma Galfi withdrew after the main draw was published due to a knee injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Susan Lamens.
Galfi’s place in the draw was taken by qualifier Sabine Lisicki.
Lamens took the place in the draw originally allocated to a qualifier, and would play third seed Barbora Krejcikova.
