Final day in Kitzbühel.
Including completion of semi final match interrupted by rain the previous day.

2022 Generali Open Kitzbühel, an ATP 250 tournament, on Clay, in Kitzbühel, Austria, 25-31 July 2022.

Defending champion:
Casper Ruud (1) who defeated Pedro Martinez 6-1 4-6 6-3

Ruud (1) withdrew after the main draw was published due to a shoulder injury and couldn’t defend his title.

Semi final results:

Wildcard Filip Misolic defeated Yannick Hanfmann 6-2 2-6 7-6(4) after play resumed from previous day.

Final:

Roberto Bautista Agut (3) (Spain) v wildcard Filip Misolic (Austria)

This was the first contest between the two players, and the first final at ATP level for Misolic.

Roberto survived two deuces and saved a break point before holding serve and levelling at 1-1 in the first set.
He then broke the Misolic serve.

Misolic saved two break points in the fifth game to avoid going down a double break.
However that trouble was only delayed, as Roberto delivered another blow in game seven to lead 5-2 and leave him serving for the set.
The task was completed for the cost of just one point, Bautista Agut ahead 6-2.

Set two was similar early on, with Bautista Agut breaking for a 2-1 lead.
Then, in the longest game of the set, Misolic took it up to the third seed, threatening to break back. Bautista Agut held firm, saving a break point in the process.
Misolic was broken in the following game, and that was effectively match over.

Roberto Bautista Agut served out the match 6-2 6-2, to claim the title, his 11th from 21 finals, and second this year after winning in Qatar in February.
