Ruud (1) withdrew after the main draw was published due to a shoulder injury and couldn’t defend his title.

Sixth seed Tallon Griekspoor withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness, and was replaced by lucky loser Ivan Gakhov.

Gakhov received the first round bye originally given to Griekspoor.
