ATP - Kitzbühel 1R start

First round commenced in Kitzbühel.

2022 Generali Open Kitzbühel, an ATP 250 tournament, on Clay, in Kitzbühel, Austria, 25-31 July 2022.

Defending champion:
Casper Ruud (1) who defeated Pedro Martinez 6-1 4-6 6-3

Top seed Casper Ruud (1) withdrew after the main draw was published due to a shoulder injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Vitaliy Sachko.
Fifth seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas was moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Ruud.
Lorenzo Sonego was instated as ninth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Ramos-Vinolas.
Sachko took the place in the draw previously occupied by Sonego.
Second seed Matteo Berrettini withdrew after the main draw was published due to fatigue, and was replaced by lucky loser Alexander Shevchenko.
Sixth seed Tallon Griekspoor was moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Berrettini.
Richard Gasquet was instated as tenth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Griekspoor.
Shevchenko took the place in the draw previously occupied by Gasquet.
Marton Fucsovics withdrew after the main draw was published due to a back injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Daniel Dutra da Silva.
Qualifier Vit Kopriva took the place in the draw previously occupied by Fucsovics.
Dutra da Silva took the place in the draw previously allocated to a qualifier.
