Maxime Cressy (USA) v Jannik Sinner (2) (Italy)
The players had yet to meet in an ATP tour level match.
Cressy served first and saved two break points before holding.
Down 0-40 in the fourth game, Sinner saved all three break points and held to level at 2-2.
No more break chances and a tie break was required.
Sinner won the tie break and the set 7-6(3).
Cressy was taken to deuce in the fourth game of set two, but apart from that, holding serve for both players was without drama.
Until the eighth game. Here, Cressy faced two break points.
He saved one, but not the second, and Sinner extended his lead to 5-3.
Jannik Sinner served out the match to win 7-6(3) 6-3 and claim his seventh ATP title.
