Defending champion:
Carlos Alcaraz (7) who defeated Diego Schwartzman (3) 6-4 6-2
Eighth seed Federico Coria withdrew after the main draw was published due to a shoulder injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
Alex Molcan was instated as ninth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Coria.
Qualifier Facundo Bagnis took the place in the draw previously occupied by Molcan, and would play Laslo Djere.
Juan Manuel Cerundolo took the place in the draw originally allocated to a qualifier, and would play second seed Cameron Norrie.
