The players had never met before in an ATP tour level match.
Baez served first and was taken to deuce before holding.
Coria began with a four deuce game, saw three game points evaporate, saved one break point, but couldn’t save a second.
Baez led 2-0. A love game extended that to 3-0.
Baez broke again in the sixth game for 5-1, and served it out to take the set 6-1 in just half an hour.
Momentum shifted in set two when Coria broke in the fourth game.
He maintained that advantage through to the ninth game where he was serving for the set at 5-3.
Baez saved one set point, but on the second he sent a forehand wide.
Coria levelled the match at 1-6 6-3.
In the decider, Baez opened with a five deuce game. He saved a break point, but took five game points before holding serve.
The players exchanged service breaks in games two and three, but Baez took the running by breaking Coria in the sixth game and led 4-2.
Coria held serve at 2-5 to stay in the match.
Baez served for the match at 5-3, and clinched it with the second match point.
Sebastian Baez won 6-1 3-6 6-3 to claim his second ATP title.
