First WTA Tour match between the players.

Second final for Zheng Qinwen, with her hoping for first title.

There were three breaks of serve in the opening four games.

Two were gained by Zheng Qinwen and she led 3-1.

No more break points faced by either player in the set, and Zheng Qinwen served it out 6-4.

Game two of set two had nine deuces and Zheng Qinwen saved five break points.

However she couldn’t save a sixth and Paolini broke to lead 2-0.

Paolini consolidated quickly, then broke again for a commanding 4-0 advantage.

Serving to stay in the set at 0-5, Zheng Qinwen managed to hold firm, but Paolini served out the set 6-1.

Zheng Qinwen broke serve in the second game of the decider to lead 2-0.

Another break and the lead extended to 4-0.

Consolidation for 5-0.

Zheng Qinwen served out the match 6-4 1-6 6-1 to claim her first WTA Tour title.
