Vukic saved a break point in the second game of the match.
No more break points faced until Vukic served at 5-6 to stay in the set.
Fritz broke serve and took the set 7-5,
Vukic saved a break point in game two of set two.
No more break points faced until Vukic served at 5-6 to stay in the match.
He saved two match points and forced a tie break.
The first seven points went with serve, then Vukic won the next point on the Fritz serve to lead 5-3.
At 6-4 Vukic had two set points. Fritz saved one, but not a second, and Vukic won the set 7-6(5).
Down 0-40 in the opening game of the decider, Vukic saved all three break points and held serve.
Fritz broke serve in the seventh game to lead 4-3.
That was enough, as he maintained the break and eventually served out jthe match 7-5 6-7(5) 6-4.
Sixth career title for Taylor Fritz, and second this year, both on home soil, following Delray Beach in February.
