Mannarino wins title in Newport

First meeting between the players, and first ATP Tour final for teenager Michelsen.

Mannarino broke the Michelsen serve in both the fifth and seventh games of set one.

He led 5-2 and then served out the set 6-2.

The pair exchanged service breaks in games two and three of set two.

No more break opportunities until the ninth game.

Serving at 4-4, Michelsen saved two break points but not a third, and Mannarino would serve for the match at 6-2 5-4.

Mannarino served out the match 6-2 6-4 to claim his third career title, and first since Winston-Salem in August last year.
