Madison Keys (USA) v Daria Kasatkina (9) (Russia)
Keys won the first seven matches between the pair, but Kasatkina won two of the last three, including the most recent - quarter final in Charleston, April this year.
Keys broke Kasatkina to love in the second game of the opening set to lead 2-0.
Keys was taken to deuce three times in game five but held serve and maintained the break for 4-1.
Serving to stay in the set at 2-5, Kasatkina was broken again, and Keys was ahead 6-2.
Keys broke serve in the fourth game of set two, and saved two break points before consolidating for a 4-1 lead.
Kasatkina broke back in the seventh game, and held serve to draw level at 4-4.
Kasatkina broke Keys in the eleventh game and served for the set.
Down 0-40, Kasatkina saved two break back points, but not the third, and Keys broke to force a tie break.
Keys was in control of the tie break, and led 5-2 with two serves to come,
However, she lost both points, and Kasatkina leveled at 5-5.
Then a battle began, with Keys having four match points saved and Kasatkina four set points lost.
Finally Keys hit a winner to take the tie break 15-13, and the match was hers 6-2 7-6(13).
The title for Madison Keys was number seven, and first since Adelaide in January 2022.
It was her second Eastbourne title, following her success way back in 2014.
