The WTA tour continues in Poland.
2021 BNP Paribas Poland Open - a WTA 250 tournament, on Clay, in Gdynia, Poland, 19-25 July 2021.
No defending champion:
This is a new tournament on the WTA calendar.
Poland previously had the Polsat Warsaw Open until it was abolished after 2010, the year in which Alexandra Dulgheru won the tournament (replaced by the Brussels Open from 2011-2013)
The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:
- Harriet Dart replaced by Kristina Kucova
- Polona Hercog replaced by Kateryna Kozlova
- Anna-Lena Friedsam replaced by Viktoria Kuzmova
- Anna Kalinskaya replaced by Varvara Lepchenko
- Nina Stojanovic replaced by Nuria Parrizas Diaz
Yulia Putintseva, world number 36, is top seed.
The other 7 seeds are all in the top 89
