2020 champion (not defending):
Simona Halep (1) who defeated Elise Mertens (3) 6-2 7-5
Final:
Barbora Krejcikova (2) (Czech Republic) defeated Tereza Martincova (8) (Czech Republic) 6-2 6-0
This was the third title from five finals for Krejcikova, all coming this year. The others were Strasbourg in May, and of course the huge success at Roland Garros in June.
Krejcikova is currently the second highest ranked Czech player, having moved past Kvitova to a career high #11.
