Aslan Karatsev (Russia) v Ben Shelton (USA)
Shelton won the only previous encounter between the players - third round at this years US Open.
First final at ATP Tour level for Shelton.
Shelton saved a break point in the second game of set one before holding serve.
No more break chances until Karatsev was serving at 5-5 and failed to hold.
Shelton served out the set 7-5.
Karatsev held serve to begin set two, but thereafter it was all Shelton.
The American lost just two points on his own serve while breaking Karatsev three times to close out the match
The 7-5 6-1 victory gave Shelton his first ATP Tour title in his first final.
A new career high ranking of #14.
