This is a new tournament on the WTA Tour calendar.
6th seed Elena Rybakina withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness, and was replaced by lucky loser Mirjam Bjorklund.
Jil Teichmann was instated as 9th seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Rybakina.
Qualifier Viktoria Kuzmova took the place in the draw previously occupied by Teichmann.
Bjorklund took the place in the draw originally allocated to a qualifier, and would play Tereza Martincova.
