Second semi final:
Iga Swiatek (1) v Aryna Sabalenka (6)
The players previously met four times, with Swiatek winning the last three, all this year - Doha quarter final, Stuttgart final, and Rome semi final.
Sabalenka broke the Swiatek serve in game three to lead 2-1.
Swiatek broke back immediately, then saved three break points in game five.
She couldn’t save a fourth and Sabalenka led 3-2.
Sabalenka broke again when Swiatek served to stay in the set at 3-5.
Sabalenka ahead 6-3.
Swiatek broke the Sabalenka serve in game one of set two, and Sabalenka held serve in the third game to trail 1-2.
After that Swiatek swept through the remaining games, and levelled the match 2-6 6-1.
Sabalenka opened the decider by breaking the Swiatek serve, then consolidated for 2-0.
The pair exchanged service breaks in games four and five, and Sabalenka led 3-2.
Sabalenka saved a break point in game six and extended her advantage to 4-2
Swiatek broke back in the eighth game, to love, and it was 4-4.
Sabalenka served at 4-5 to stay in the match.
Sabalenka netted a forehand. 0-15. Double fault. 0-30. Overhead winner from Swiatek. Three match points.

Sabalenka netted a backhand and the match was over.
Iga Swiatek won through to the final 3-6 6-1 6-4.
