6th seed CoCo Gauff withdrew after the main draw was published due to a change in schedule, and was replaced by lucky loser Heather Watson 

Alison Riske was instated as 17th seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Gauff.

Riske received the first round bye previously given to Gauff.

Watson took the place previously occupied by Riske.

Zhang Shuai withdrew after the main draw was published due to a neck injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Rebecca Marino.

Zhang Shuai’s original place in the draw was taken by qualifier Lesia Tsurenko.

Marino’s place in the draw was originally reserved for a qualifier, but as a lucky loser she now filled the spot, and would play Heather Watson first up.
