Final:
Bianca Andreescu (Canada) v Caroline Garcia (France)
The final would be the first WTA clash between the players.
In set one, Garcia was the first to strike, breaking in game four.
Andreescu immediately broke back, and later saved four break points to level at 4-4.
A tie break was required,
After each player had a couple of mini breaks, it was on serve until at 5-6, Garcia lost the next point on her serve, and the set went to Andreescu 7-6(5).
No break points in set two until the sixth game where Andreescu converted and led 4-2.
Garcia, down a set and a break, fought back strongly, breaking the Andreescu serve twice, and taking the set 6-4.
In the decider, Garcia again was down a break, this time 0-2, but as in set two, broke the next two serves of Andreescu and held a 3-2 advantage.
The French player saved two break points before consolidating at 4-2, and there were no more chances for Andreescu after that.
Caroline Garcia served it out 6-7(5) 6-4 6-4 to claim her first title since Nottingham in June 2019.
