2022 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships - a WTA 500 tournament, on Hard Deco Turf II, in Dubai, UAE, 14-19 February 2022.

Event held last year from 7-13 March 2021.

Defending champion:

Garbiñe Muguruza (9) who defeated Barbora Krejcikova 7-6(6) 6-3

5th seed Maria Sakkari withdrew after the main draw was published due to a change in schedule, and was replaced by lucky loser Jil Teichmann 

Danielle Collins was instated as 9th seed and moved to the place in the draw previously occupied by Sakkari.

7th seed Anett Kontaveit withdrew after the main draw was published due to a change in schedule, and was replaced by lucky loser Ajla Tomljanovic.

Elina Svitolina was instated as 10th seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Kontaveit.
