Fritz saved three breaks in game seven before holding for 4-3.

Struff saved three set points in game nine before levelling at 5-5.

Fritz was broken in the following game and trailed 5-6.

Struff served out the set 7-5

Struff broke Fritz in the opening game of set two.

The players exchanged breaks of serve in games seven and eight, leaving Struff ahead 5-3.

Fritz served to stay in the match but was broken and Struff was victorious 7-5 6-3.

In his fourth final this was the first title for Jan-Lennard Struff, and he achieved it in his home country.
