Carlos Alcaraz (7) who defeated Alexander Zverev (2) 6-3 6-1

Pablo Carreno Busta (18) withdrew after the main draw was published due to an elbow injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Daniel Altmaier.
Altmaier received the first round bye originally given to Carreno Busta.
