Marco Cecchinato withdrew after the main draw was published due to an abdominal injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Liam Broady.

- Dusan Lajovic led Filip Krajinovic 6-2 4-6 2-0 when rain stopped play
- Alexei Popyrin defeated Tallon Griekspoor (5) 7-6(4) 7-6(4)
- Alex Molcan defeated Taro Daniel 3-6 7-5 6-1
