Ugo Humbert (4) (France) v Grigor Dimitrov (2) (Bulgaria)
Both previous matches between the players were won by Dimitrov:
the more recent a 2020 first round in Cincinnati.
In the final neither player faced a break point through nine games of set one.
In fact hardly any pints went against the serve.
Serving at 4-5 to stay in the set, Dimitrov was taken to deuce three times.
He then faced the first break point of the match.which was a set point.
That was saved, but not a second, and Humbert took the set 6-4.
Humbert broke in game two of set two, then consolidated for 3-0.
No more break chances, and Humbert served out the match 6-4 6-3
Title number five for Humbert, and first since the Moselle Ooen in November 2023.
