Sixth seed Elisabetta Cocciaretto withdrew after the main draw was published, and was replaced by lucky loser Martina Trevisan.
Sloane Stephens was instated as ninth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Cocciaretto.
Seventh seed Mayar Sherif withdrew after the main draw was published, and was replaced by lucky loser Clara Tauson.
Irina-Camelia Begu was instated as tenth seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Sherif.
Begu then withdrew because of illness and was replaced by lucky loser Sara Sorribes Tormo.
Jasmine Paolini was instated as eleventh seed and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Begu.
Venus Williams withdrew after the main draw was published, and was replaced by lucky loser Tamara Korpatsch.
