Lucky loser Nao Hibino defeated Jaqueline Cristian 6-4 6-7(2) 6-3 after play resumed from previous day
Final:
Lucky loser Nao Hibino (Japan) v Linda Noskova (4) (Czech Republic)
Noskova won the only previous match between the players - quarter final of this tournament last year.
In this years final, Noskova broke serve in the second game of the opening set,
Hibino broke back in the fifth game and trailed 2-3.
Hibino broke again in the ninth game for a 5-4 lead, and served out the set 6-4.
Hibino didn’t face a break point in set two, but broke Noskova three times.
The unseeded player served out the match 6-4 6-1.
Third career title for Nao Hibino, and first since the Japan Women’s Open in September 2019.
