The players had never met in a WTA Tour match before.
This was the first final for Dolehide at this level.
Dolehide saved a break point in the opening game of the match before holding serve.
Sakkari broke serve in the third game and led 2-1.
Dolehide broke back in the eighth game for 4-4.
Sakkari broke again in the eleventh game and led 6-5.
She served out the set 7-5.
Sakkari broke serve in game five of set two and led 3-2.
Serving at 3-5 to stay in the match, Dolehide was broken again and Sakkari prevailed 7-5 6-3.
This was the second title for Maria Sakkari, following her debut win in Morocco, May 2019
