Pablo Carreno Busta (1) (Spain) v Jaume Munar (Spain)
Carreno Busta appeared in control of the match leading 6-1 2-2, but it was Munar who produced a flurry of clay court brilliance at the end of set two, which brought about two breaks of serve and levelled the match at 6-1 2-6.
Set three saw breaks in games five and six, but at 4-4, the real drama occurred. In a game of eight deuces, Munar saved six break points. However he couldn’t survive a seventh, and the top seed broke through.
At 40-15, Pablo Carreno Busta delivered an ace to win the final 6-1 2-6 6-4.
A fifth ATP title from eight finals, and 200th match win for Pablo.
