The ATP Tour continues in Italy.
2021 Sardegna Open - an ATP 250 tournament, on Clay, in Cagliari, Italy, 5-11 April 2021.
2020 champion:
Laslo Djere who defeated wildcard Marco Cecchinato 7-6(3) 7-5
(The Sardegna Open was played for the first time in Fort Village, Pula, October 2020, and was organised due to the cancellation of a number of tournaments that year as a result of COVID-19. A single year license has been awarded for the tournament to be held in Cagliari 2021.)
The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:
- Jeremy Chardy replaced by Joao Sousa
- Cristian Garin replaced by Federico Coria
- Aslan Karatsev replaced by Lorenzo Musetti
- Thiago Monteiro replaced by Andrej Martin
