Shnaider broke in the fourth game of set one to lead 3-1.
In game seven, Shnaider survived seven deuces, and saved two break points before holding for 5-2.
Serving for the set, Shnaider saved seven break points.
Eventually a fourth set point was converted and Shnaider won the set 6-3.
Vekic broke serve in game two of set two, and led 2-0.
Shnaider saved a break point in game six and avoided going down a double break.
Serving at 2-5 to stay in the set, Shnaider was broken, leaving Vekic with the set 6-2.
Breaks of serve were exchanged in games three and four of the decider.

Vekic was broken in the seventh game and trailed 3-4.
Serving at 3-5 to stay in the match, Vekic was broken again.
Diana Shnaider won the match 6-3 2-6 6-3.
