2024 Brisbane International presented by Evie, a WTA 500 tournament, on Hard Outdoor, Brisbane, Australia, 31 December 2023 - 7 January 2024.
As a result of COVID, the tournament didn’t proceed in 2021.
The event moved to Adelaide in 2021-2023.
Brisbane has been reinstated in 2024.

Final:
Aryna Sabalenka (1) (Belarus) v Elena Rybakina (2) (Kazakhstan)
Sabalenka led 5-2 in matches between the players before this final.
Four of the battles occurred in 2023, Sabalenka winning the Australian Open final and a round robin match in the year ending WTA Finals.
In between, Rybakina won the Indian Wells final and a quarter final in Beijing.
Set one was a,disaster for Sabalenka - sha was broken each of the three times she went to the line by Rybakina.
The second seed conversely held serve each time and won the set 6-0.
Sabalenka had a game point in the second game of set two, but couldn’t convert.
She was ultimately broken and Rybakina led 2-0.
Sabalenka finally was on the scoreboard when she broke the Rybakina serve in game three.
Rybakina broke straight back and led 3-1.
Sabalenka served at 2-5 to stay in the match.
She held and trailed 3-5.
Rybakina served for the match and succeeded, taking the title 6-0 6-3.
Title number six and first since the Italian Open in May 2023.
