Jannik Sinner wins Aus Open title

2024 Australian Open - Men’s Singles Day 15 - final

2024 Australian Open, first Grand Slam tournament of the year, on Hard Outdoor, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 14-28 January 2024.

Defending champion:
Novak Djokovic  (4) who defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas (3) 6-3 7-6(4) 7-6(5). 

Final:

Jannik Sinner (4) (Italy) v Daniil Medvedev (3) (Russia)

Medvedev broke Sinner in game three of set one, then a love game consolidated his lead to 3-1.

Sinner broke serve in the sixth game of set five and led 4-2.
He consolidated for 5-2.

Medvedev served at 2-5 to stay in the match.
He held, leaving Sinner to serve for the title.
Jannik Sinner served it out to win the 2024 Australian Open Men’s Singles title 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-3.
