2021 WTA Finals

The 2021 WTA Finals are taking place in Mexico.

2021 Akron WTA Finals Guadalajara, on Hard, in Guadalajara, Mexico, 10-17 November 2021.

Event not held last year due to COVID-19.

2019 champion (not defending):
Ashleigh Barty (1) who defeated Elina Svitolina (8) 6-4 6-3

Ashleigh Barty qualified first but later withdrew, and Anett Kontaveit took the vacant eighth spot.

The eight competitors were split into two groups (seedings in brackets)

Group Teotihuacán

After a series of round robin matches, the semi finals will be:

Winner Group Chichén Itzá v Runner Up Group Teotihuacán
Winner Group Teotihuacán v Runner Up Group Chichén Itzá
