This is the second ATP final for Sandgren, having been runner up to Steve Johnson in Houston April 2018.

Anna Karolina Schmiedlova defeated Belinda Bencic 7-6(2) 4-6 6-2

Kenin is in her first WTA final, whereas Schmiedlová is in her fifth - three of the four previous were in 2015 for two wins, the other was last year when she defeated Lara Arruabarrena in Colombia in April.
