Fils broke serve in the second game of the match to lead 2-0.
He saved four break points in game five before holding for 4-1.
Zverev saved a break point in the sixth game and held for 2-4.
Fils saved three break points in game seven then held for 5-2.
Serving for the set at 5-3, Fils saved two break points.
He proceeded to win the set 6-3.
Fils saved four break points in game four of set two.
Zverev saved a break point in game five.
Both held serve and Zverev led 3-2.
In game six, Fils saved three break points, but couldn’t save a fourth.
Zverev broke to lead 4-2.
Serving at 2-5 to stay in the set, Fils held.

Arthur Fils won the tie break and the match 6-3 3-6 7-6(1).
