The WTA tour continues in the Germany.
2021 bett1open - a WTA 500 tournament, on Grass, in Berlin, Germany, 14-20 June 2021.
Last edition of the tournament was in 2008.
Event was to be revived last year but was cancelled due to COVID-19
The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:
- Ashleigh Barty replaced by Madison Keys
- Jennifer Brady replaced by Angelique Kerber
- Sofia Kenin replaced by Jessica Pegula
- Petra Kvitová replaced by Shelby Rogers
- Naomi Osaka replaced by Petra Martic
- Maria Sakkari replaced by Veronika Kudermetova
- Iga Swiatek replaced by Ekaterina Alexandrova
Aryna Sabalenka, world number 4, is top seed.
The other 7 seeds are all in the top 22
The top four seeds have first round byes.
