2024 Hangzhou Open, an ATP 250 tournament, on Hard Outdoor, Hangzhou, China, 18-24 September 2024
This is the first edition of the Hangzhou Ooen as a tournament on the ATP Tour.
It replaces the Zhuhai Championships on the ATP Tour calendar.
Third seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry withdrew after the main draw was published due to a wrist injury, and wa replaced by lucky loser Mitchell Krueger.
Krueger received the first round bye originally given to Etcheverry.

- Brandon Nakashima (4) defeated qualifier Coleman Wong 6-7(7) 7-6(4) 6-1
- Rinky Hijikata received a walkover from Fabian Marozsan (7)
- Mikhail Kukushkin defeated Alexander Shevchenko 6-4 7-6(3)
- Wildcard Bu Yunchaokete defeated Karen Khachanov (2) 7-6(7) 4-6 6-3
