2024 Hangzhou Open, an ATP 250 tournament, on Hard Outdoor, Hangzhou, China, 18-24 September 2024
This is the first edition of the Hangzhou Ooen as a tournament on the ATP Tour.
It replaces the Zhuhai Championships on the ATP Tour calendar.
Third seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry withdrew after the main draw was published due to a wrist injury, and wa replaced by lucky loser Mitchell Krueger.
Krueger received the first round bye originally given to Etcheverry.
Sumit Nagal withdrew after the main draw was published due to a back injury, and wa replaced by lucky loser James McCabe.
First round results:

- Fabian Marozsan (7) defeated Luca Nardi 6-0 6-2
- Mikhail Kukushkin defeated Luciano Darderi (5) 6-3 6-4
