This was the first title this year from three finals for Muguruza, and first title since Monterrey in April 2019.
Muguruza leads the field this year for match wins, now 18.
It was the second final for Krejčíková, first at WTA 1000 level. As a result, Krejčíková moves up 26 places to a career high ranking of #37.
