The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:

Seventh seed Stan Wawrinka withdrew after the main draw was published due to fatigue, and was replaced by lucky loser Radu Albot.
Lorenzo Sonego was instated as 17th seed.
Dominic Thiem, world number 4, is top seed.
