Rome - ATP Masters 1000

This week, the tennis circus continues in Rome, where both WTA Premier 5 and ATP Masters 1000 tournaments will be held. These were originally scheduled for May, but COVID-19 changed things.

2020 Internazionali BNL d’Italia - an ATP Masters 1000 category tournament, on Red Clay, in Rome, Italy, 14-21 September 2020.

Defending champion:

Rafael Nadal (2) who defeated Novak Djokovic (1) 6-0 4-6 6-1 


The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:


- Roberto Bautista Agut replaced by Yoshihito Nishioka 

- John Isner replaced by Marin Cilic 

- Daniil Medvedev replaced by Lorenzo Sonego

- Alexander Zverev replaced by Alexander Bublik 

- Dominic Thiem replaced by a lucky loser  


Novak Djokovic, world number 1, is top seed.

The other 15 seeds are all in the top 21

The top 8 seeds, plus Pablo Carreño Busta, have first round byes
