The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:
- Kei Nishikori replaced by Henri Laaksonen
Tennys Sandgren was a late withdrawal after the main draw was published, due a knee injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Bernard Tomic.
Nick Kyrgios, world number 21, is top seed.
