WTA Bogotá begins

On Monday 8 April, the main draw matches in two WTA tournaments began, one in Colombia, the other in Switzerland.

The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:

Lucky loser, Sara Errani, has taken the spot of Petra Martic in the draw, and Lara Arruabarrena has taken the place of Tatjana Maria; also been given a seeding of 11.


Jelena Ostapenko, world number 29, is top seed.
